OK, that’s the first and last time that I claim in writing that I’m good for good weather. Of course the first wedding I shoot after pretending I’m responsible for the lucky rolls of the rain cloud dice, the ceremony was ‘rained out’. Of course it didn’t matter, in this case I actually think the wet weather option was as good if not better than the first choice for dry weather.
The Southern Highlands can be a place with an air of romance, mystery and intrigue. You’ll find mist in the cool air with low lying clouds – soft kind light bouncing around. Estates draped in berries with trees older than the beautiful buildings themselves. There’s kind hearted farmers and their wives, and Montrose Estate and Berry Farm is no exception to any of the above. A truly beautiful place that made for one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of.
If a successful marriage was based on how much artistic and creative input (not to mention hard work) a couple contribute to creating their wedding, Bec and Dean have got it sorted. Of course there’s more to it than that, and there’s no doubt Bec and Dean are a perfect match who have got it all. A great couple, and a great wedding. Thanks from us here at CloudFace and our warm congratulations again – Dean Dampney and smiling friend of CloudFace and wonderful Photographer, Katelyn Slyer
