If you were to ask me where is that South Coast Wedding Venue where I feel the most inspired, I'd say resoundingly Paperbark Camp. There's something about those Paperbark Trees that just speak to me. It might be that I used to use that bark to 'make paper' with and draw on when I was a kid - I can still feel the tension of the bark as I pull it gently from the tree (at that time with little sensitivity to the poor old trees) and the excitement of using that raw ingredient to make art.
It seems that not much has changed over the years. Those beautiful trees still inspire me to make art - these day's in the photographic form. and I still feel like a kid as I feel my way along the forest floor and discover the secrets that lie within the sanctuary of that secret garden. It was so cool sharing this with my two new friends, and awesome clients, Andrea and Ronald.
We also adventured along to Blenheims Beach on Jervis Bay nearby and ooohed and ahhhed at the insanely white sand, turquoise water, and total absence of humanity beyond the little love bubble and Photographer that we represented.
Combined with awesome tunes, incredible food, and good stuff to sip, Paperbark Camp and the Wedding that was Andrea and Ronald's, made for a chilled day of celebration that marked their lives and ours with all the most wonderful goodness you could conjure.
