The little church on the hill up in Milton, set before the Buddawang Escarpment and amongst green paddocks, emanated sincere love and joy this special day. From Father Michael’s Book of Songs, to Yhan’s angelic music, to of course Kristina and Raff front and centre, the love and togetherness couldn’t have been more sincere. The Ceremony that these guys marked their relationship with, was far from a quick couple of vows, ring exchange, hug and kiss affair. It was way more profound. The warm hugs afterwards by all were a testimony to the depth of its significance.
After some really beautiful time together, just Raff, Kristina and myself, taking some ‘happy snaps’, we all ended up at Mimosa Eco Retreat in Bawley Point. The ceremonial rituals hadn’t stopped at St Mary’s Church in Milton. The Sumatran family on Kristina’s side conducted a beautiful traditional ceremony culminating in a chorus of song and more warm hugs! So good!.
This Wedding was so close and so inherently loving. I felt honoured and privileged to be intermeshed with all this wonderful energy and warm hearted integrity.
