From the bottom of my heart I declare Lily and Brad’s Wedding deeply moving, beyond authentic in every regard, and at the top of my list for all things that I appreciate about Weddings! In case you haven’t joined the dots, all these things mentioned and inferred above, come to two very definitive elements - they’re human, they’re loving and supportive, and 100% meant to be, and their names are Lily and Brad. They also have brought in two very cool little humans to this world that the photos above will attest to how awesome they are, and what a big part of the circle of goodness this Wedding was.
It was wet, really wet, but amazingly dry throughout the Ceremony. Of course it was. There’s a lookout somewhere in Bombala that I imagine overlooks some really wonderful country, but we couldn’t see out the windscreen of a car let alone over the district. So we went to the pub and had a drink and took some pictures that like their names on the wall and the night they ‘picked up’, the images will mark their presence even further in the history of both the Imperial Hotel, and the town itself. This felt way better than scenic forays into newly wed backdrops.
I loved so many parts of being part of my friend’s Lily and Brad’s Wedding. A lot of it the visual tapestry that’s so indelibly etched now - the kids at the pool table, the dance floor, the weather. But more so the imprint was beyond the sensory. It was from the feelings that come with rainbows and magic. The sentiments that arise through the truth of love and meaningful greatness.
Bombala will always be where Lily and Brad got married for me, and for all of us lucky enough to share.
With sincere love and gratitude, thanks for inviting me down Lily and Brad.
