Bec and James! What beauties. Such class acts. So easy going. So happy. What a couple!
I’m a little bit lost for words here. It’s not due Bec and James’ Wedding being non eventful nor due to the fact that one the Wedding didn’t impact me deeply. It’s just that in being the student of humanity that I am, I simply was struck by a distinct lack of the kind of slightly abnormal, left field, one eyebrow raised kind of happenings that otherwise typically imprint on me.
There weren’t wardrobe malfunctions, nor slightly too public nose picking. There wasn’t a drop of red spilt down the front, or any saliva that went down the wrong way mid speech. Counter to this, Bec and James’ Wedding left impressions on me for all the right reasons. People simply dressed up, looked absolutely amazing, socialised intimately, gave gob smackingly impressive speeches, danced their booties off, and all up got down to the business of celebrating an amazing couple. Job done!
I loved that Bec and James were both so laid back, that if I’d forgotten to put my ‘Wedding Photographer’ hat on, certain (usually considered quite ‘precious;) photographs, like Bridal Party shots and even Bride and Groom Portraits, may well not have been mentioned, let alone been executed. And I know it would have been like, “ohh well, that’s a bit bridey isn’t it”. My kind of clients!
My huge thanks to my lovely clients, Bec and James. Thanks too, to Tim Mooney for the shout out in the first place bringing me to their attention. And last but not least big ups to all the amazing vendors that made this Wedding so truly uncharacteristically perfect.
