A Wedding is not just a Wedding. For example, you get a couple of people by the name of Jodie and Matt, alongside a really good bunch of mates, and generations of family that have all been knocking about the same little town for what I imagine is a long long time, and you get what's referred to as 'something special'. All that interconnectedness. Well from Matt and Jodie for sure, but throughout the celebration of people that intertwine them throughout their lives and that very day.
OK. That stuff isn't that unique, but more than enough to make any given Wedding Day the best day of your life (especially if you're the ones getting married). What the icing on the cake is so to speak in my line of work is that alignment of visual beauty to the occasion. And in my case the icing is that much sweeter for it's organic ingredients, that in the case of Jodie and Matt's Wedding was dripping off our eyeballs, a la natural, in every direction we gazed.
Take Mimosa Winery for instance. When was the last time you stood upon a hardwood deck surrounded by nothing but towering gum trees under the warm dusk skies. Just your mates to drink cold beer with before you sit down immersed in all that to a meal that you'll never forget. You'll also notice blue skies and blue water to die for lapping at Jodie and Matt's feet (well almost). If you're reading between the lines you'll get the facts straight - this part of the world is incredible.
My warmest congratulations to Jodie and Matt! What a day!
