If you mention the words 'Back Yard Wedding' to me my eyes light up. I picture an intimate gathering of friends and family gathered loosely under a Jacaranda Tree or Blossoming Gum with petals gently dancing towards the soft grass below. There's easy flowing smiles and relaxed vibes devoid of pretence and stiff tradition.

When Tegan and Brody put those three words to my attention and asked me to be their Wedding Photographer, I couldn't have been happier. My vision was realised, as it always will be when it comes to getting hitched in the backyard - it's a sure fire recipe for success every time.

McKenzies Beach gave us the idillic South Coast landscape and soft sand to knock about with. Their were laughs and tequila shots, and romance so genuine it shined. Who wouldn't be honoured to be in the presence of a couple like these guys on their Wedding Day. Love is a beautiful thing.

On The Pier Restaurant at Batemans Bay did the rest. Amazing food, a fountain of top shelf bubbly and beer, and again a view to die for. Everyone feasted and celebrated while I delighted in the ooze of happiness and visual smorgasbord that makes up Photographers' dreams.
