I’m a Wedding Photojournalist through and through. Otherwise known as a Documentary Wedding Photographer. Personally I’m happy to drop the ‘Wedding’ part and just stake my claim as simply a Documentary Photographer. Those of us that adhere to this association tend to be purists and long term devotees of the art.
My very tuned in clients, Emily and Marius here, might not be aficionado’s of the Photographic genre to the extent that I am, but they certainly know enough about how they like they’re photography done, to sign me up. They had one specific request - “no portraits'“. That was my brief. Respect right there!
From the brief arrived a Wedding Ceremony in a sensation location at Foxground just north of Berry surrounded by hills and ocean at every angle. In the midst of the Ceremony arrived four of their kids (operating beyond the brief), and making this incredibly special day that much more special.
Above all the love and respect, let alone the joy and humour between Emily and Marius was palpable. I feel so fortunate to have been a witness and to be able to feel all the wonderful emotions that come with the ride.
