I’d come straight from sitting on a cushion for three days in front of a smiley Tibetan Buddhist Master in Red Robes and a funny accent. Elisa and Dylan’s smiles got the award still for best of the best. Better dressed too, and not such funny accents. The love was relentless. I’ll continue to claim that I haven’t met a more loved couple. Starting with the love for each other and mirrored in strength and lashings from their beloved friends and family. Standing up never felt so good. Let alone getting the opportunity to photograph such a special day. The privilege was profound for me.
Tuross Heads is such a hidden gem. From green grass and pine trees, to pristine beaches, azure blue ocean, and great lumps of South Coast sandstone to play like kids on. That’s all within a couple of hundred metres. To the Reception by the side of the lake, pelicans pointed us in the right direction and the sun left it’s warmth with a cosmic sunset.
Meanwhile the smiles and the hugs and the general easy goingness that defined this beautiful shindig of a Wedding kept on rocking into the starry night. Stuff like speeches and Wedding games, a beautiful singing guitar player, great food and cold drinks all made for perfect ingredients leading up to the cake cut but more importantly Elisa and Dylan cutting up the dance floor.
I just feel so lucky that this wonderful couple found me and asked me along.
With Love and Gratitude,
Dean aka CloudFace
