A went for a drive not too long ago....a couple of weeks ago to be precise. I blinked as the sun pierced through the windscreen and I wondered how all those leaves held on in the southerly breeze, all goldened up and dancing together. I couldn't see that clearly but I'm sure as my legs found that trail through the bush rock and scrub that there was a white whale tail saluting all encompassing love. That was what happened at Bawley Point, otherwise a sleepy little coastal sanctuary, but this day awakened from the pulsing humanity of a big white tent, and two particularly special people who sat at the centre of it all. That's Ainslie and Terry. Queen, King and royal subjects of this great stuff that all nature, neighbours and elements combined rejoiced. And if you think this is poetic, you should have seen the way their eyes met and the smiles intermeshed.....

The what where why and how is irrelevant. If you can't feel that real loving absolutely pure togetherness in these photographs, with these beautiful people - you may as well be neck deep in mud. As for us, we just danced on turquoise waters, under an aquamarine sky, a float a very sexy looking barge, whilst being showered in champagne as pelicans flew overhead. There were huge wise old trees and stretches of beach that had never been graced with all manner of such joyful antics, and...I almost dropped my camera in the drink it was all so wonderfully fun to be part of. I took some photos, or they kinda took themselves as I smiled from ear to ear and got to swim in the wake of all that wholesome celebration.
Kylie and Krystal, wow, thank you!!!! I'll never forget your Wedding Day. It was perfect.

Fun fact: my clients are awesome....
{Meet The Scientist and The Philosopher}
Sam and Tom are no exception, and if I didn't get to basque in Sam and Tom's world on their Wedding Day as their Photographer, I'd be crashing their Wedding for sure! Cafe hang outs, phone chats and easy banter were all strong lead ups for me to know that I was working for a couple of special human beings. What a privilege it was to see them declare, share and celebrate their love for each other.
Another well even better known fact: the South Coast of New South Wales is absolutely gorgeous. Especially in Spring, and especially when you're in the cradle of Jaspers Brush rolling hills and wine country. Silos Estate was stunning. From the warm golden light and green paddock, to the visual majesty of the silos themselves coupled and adjoining the marquee all lit up and dripping with flowers (wow Moss Nest!).
It was such a cool thing to work alongside other contributors to Sam and Tom's Wedding like Dr Monty Badami - the smiliest and wisest Celebrant this side of the Bodhi Tree. Emma McGill the makeup Maestro - so kind - so professional. And to top it all off with getting a groove on with We Play Records - Sam and Tom's folks took the cake in the get down department (I just watched and learned).
What a great Wedding. Huge congratulations to my most awesome of awesome clients. Sam and Tom - you guys rock.
With love - Dean aka CloudFace.
