Alicia and Ben are two of the most beautiful people I've had the pleasure to photograph, and all the more so for the undeniable loving bond that they share and emanate. It was such a pleasure for me to stand behind the lens and get to feel and capture the goodness of the Wedding Day these guys created. It was so obviously a really close group of people composed of two strong family units that have now come together. For two people that are the opposite to showey and "look at me look at me", I was mesmerised by how effortlessly and joyfully this wonderful couple floated through their day with everyones eyes peeled in their direction. So much strength in their unity and such an honour to be part of for all of us.

Throw together a mix of open minded interesting film type folk and the sweet whiff of eucalyptus by the seaside on the south coast here, and you get quite the shindig. Tania and Melvin having an eye for detail and a feel for firm narrative also made sure that nothing went a miss in these departments. The pictures don't really tell 1000 words but I reckon they might auto cue a couple of ideas of how pretty an affair their Wedding Day was.
I thrive on documenting days like this and am sincerely stoked to share it with you all. My warm congratulations to my lovely clients and warm thank you to all who were game enough to walk in my general direction (and especially those of you who pretended I wasn't there).

KYLIE + PETE {Foxglove Spires Wedding, Tilba Tilba}. 30-12-17
When we first met, I sat barefoot on a pile of dirt with ants crawling all over my legs, and asked my smiling clients to join me, which they did (happily). I knew we'd work well together. I was even more impressed when I pressed Kylie on her John Deer thing (the cap, and possibly shirt if I remember correctly), to which she responded something along the lines, "that she just really liked the company and Pete does a lot of mowing". We laughed, discussed sponsorship opportunities, and then the impending arrival on their Wedding Day in the Gator through the magnificent floral archway of Foxglove Spires in Tilba Tilba. We then laughed some more, dusted ourselves off and went home knowing this all felt like a great fit.
Fasforward a couple of months or more and there I am photographing Kylie being escorted through aforementioned archway in the shiniest John Deer Gator ever to have been driven past the showroom. The shine of that Gator had nothing on Kylie's smile though, only to matched by my mate Pete, who is in fact my client first but someone I felt an instant kinship with.
The violins played in the sea of green and blossoming flowers while these two tied the knot. With love flowing, and the birds chirping, this Wedding felt so magic for all of us. Tilba is incredible and so is this wonderful venue. With a couple of bubbles and beautiful food, great friends, and happy families, this was such a nice end of the year for me, and for Kylie and Pete an incredible launch into their married lives.
The Whale Restaurant in Narooma played host to dinner after the Ceremony. What a find that was for me - I can't wait to take my family there. It's got such a great feel and everyone clearly loved the atmosphere they created, let alone the food and beverages.
