First impressions in my business are everything. There's second chances but really my body follows my eye that follows my loving joy assessment meter. With little room for anything that falls outside the positive emotion category it's always a curious orbit that I find myself a float beyond the gravity zone. For Anne and Mitch, I had the pleasure of being able to both discover the heritage awesomeness of Coolangatta Estate's ye olde accom, and have the above mentioned joy meter skirt erratically in overload with the abundance of good stuff going down.
There were a couple of Four X Golds and sneaky vinos for their clever combination of nerve settlement and smiley face encouragement. In less words, people were happy! And celebratory and even inclined to get a bit loose on the dance floor (which is always good).
The speeches were a bit cheeky, but mostly just very real, pretty clever, and very well done. I laughed out loud a couple of times inappropriately for the right reasons, before that old meter went buzzing again and I fired off another couple of dozen rounds. They weren't the only shots going down though, and as mentioned the beats later found even more groovers getting down when it mattered. And what a great job they all did.
Mitch and Anne love each other so very much. I write it like that because it's true and also because it sounds a bit english and that makes me smile in the same way they made me smile every second I spent with them.
What a lovely couple! Congrats you guys! - Dean aka CloudFace.
