Hello Hummer. That's the first thought that entered my head as I unveiled Steph and Andy's Wedding Day from the blanket of mystery for me to the day of total wholesome nourishment that it soon became. The stretched hummer sat patiently at Falls Creek when I passed it pondering it's destination. At the top of the grassy hill with alpacas was the castle that Steph, The Girls, and assorted family members were getting ready. And beyond the hill, to the east was the blue and green that made up the view towards St Georges Basin and the billions of eucalypts that placed everything perfectly. The day had started well.
Enter Jervis Bay and Greenfields Beach for the Wedding Ceremony. There was apparently some Bridesmaids squelching from the relatively high humidity but whatever perspiration issues might have been experienced, who the hell can go past that pristine white sand, and aqua marine!
Last but not least, there's this beautiful old Butter Factory up the country road in Pyree. It's called The Butter Factory (funnily enough) and it does a great job of immersing everyone in fine food, refreshments, and a surrounding view that puts country soul squarely on the map. It's seriously gorgeous and atmospherically the combo of beautiful old building in the middle of the pastures speaks volumes.
Steph and Andy and their delightful little girl made such a special day together. Along with friends and family, the Wedding was intimate, easy going, and profoundly memorable.
My warmest heart felt congrats go out to Steph and Andy! - Dean aka CloudFace.
